Since 2009, Naforé has been working to preserve biodiversity, combat desertification, and improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations, in line with national environmental protection policies.

Apolitical association, law 64-098 (1964), approved on June 25, 2009 (receipt no. 287/MID)
Based in Tevragh Zeina — Nouakchott, Naforé brings together 25 members with diverse skills in the fields of environment, health, sanitation, and hygiene.
