From December 16 to 22, 2024, the Naforé association for environmental protection carried out activities to establish two vegetable growing areas of one hectare each, the provision of horticultural materials, training, and the distribution of seeds for the benefit of two women’s cooperatives in the villages of Oumoul Ghoura and Oumoul Lamhar in the Commune of Aghoratt, Wilaya of Assaba, as part of the project “Restoration of Degraded Lands and improvement of the livelihoods of the populations of Tamourt Bougary through nature-based solutions,” funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Program implemented by UNDP.
