The Naforé Association attended a consultation workshop as part of the process of developing the comprehensive project document, “Improving the resilience of agropastoral ecosystem communities and the oases of Ziyara and Dhaya to the harmful effects of climate change in the Adrar region of Mauritania (PRAGOA),” which took place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the hotel in Nouakchott.
The overall objective of the project is to improve the resilience of communities, particularly women and youth, agro-pastoral ecosystems, and the Oasis of Zyara and Dhaya to the impacts of climate change through sustainable management of soils and water, as well as natural resources and agro-pastoral practices.
