As part of the “Mangroves for Climate and Oceans” project, Association Naforé carried out a mission on Thursday, March 20, 2025, to deliver equipment aimed at supporting the Income Generating Activities of women engaged in local sustainable development initiatives. Among the deliveries were materials for the women’s cooperative of Ebden, which received equipment for craftwork, an essential artisan activity for their economic empowerment and the enhancement of local resources.
The supply of a motor pump and accessories to the women’s cooperative of Bouhajra is an indispensable tool for optimizing irrigation and improving the agricultural productivity of their garden.
A visit to different community gardens was conducted and a significant improvement in activities was observed, particularly with onions, cabbages, turnips, and others such as beets, demonstrating a positive impact of the project on food security and the resilience of local communities.
