Creation of micro-gardens in El Mina: soil-less cultivation, funded by the Meridiam Endowment Fund and the Coastal Development Company of Nouakchott (SALN)
Project objective:
Contribute to reducing socio-economic inequalities, particularly between genders, through the strengthening of the financial resilience of women and youth at the municipal level of El Mina by promoting Income Generating Activities (IGAs) based on market gardening and school garden projects.

The training session was organized, with the main objective of transferring practical and technical skills to the selected beneficiaries. The training covered the entire process of micro-gardening: from the design of the growing tables to harvesting, including the local production of organic nutrient solutions.
